We spent a wonderful weekend at the Oregon Coast last week! It was so beautiful and there was no wind. We visiting every tide pool that we could find and made lots of sand castles.

Downtown Newport checking out the Sea Lions.

We were at one of the tide pools and a coastal ranger showed the kids how to find the little crabs. They had a great time holding everyone they could find.

We just love the lighthouses along the coast. I believe we have visited everyone now in Oregon.

Sydney and Brooke could have stayed all day in the sand if we would have let them. They were so entertained by all of the little sea creatures. Whether dead or alive.

We made a quick trip up to Seattle for the weekend to visit Jeff's family. We had a great weekend visiting with everyone. This is the backyard of one of his Aunt's home. The kids got to go swimming and really had a great time. Thanks to 2 of Jeff's cousins Brooke is safe and sound. She had watched Ali jump in the pool from the hot tub and figured it would be fun too. But it was too deep and she couldn't swim. She did a great job trying to bob until the 2 cousins jumped in fully clothed and saved her! I will always be greatful to their quick reaction.

I went out to the garage and pulled out all of the summer clothes for the girls and they put them on and went straight outside to enjoy the sun. It is 80 degrees today! It is just beautiful and has really helped our attitudes. We love the sun!

This is a painting that Ali made of our new dog. I just really thought it was great.

This is a painting that Dayne did when the artist in resident came to school last week. It is a painting of "Stary Nights". He was so proud of himself.

Dayne just finished his storyline program at school on Native American Indians. This was his mask that he had a great time making.

We were very kindly invited to join the annual Cascade Crest Easter Egg Hunt. The kids were so excited to see their friends and really had a great time! Thank you!
Sydney was able to see her old babysitter. She was so happy.

It is always fun trying to do the twin thing in times like this...One goes one way and the other goes a different way!

Ali brought her cousin Marissa who we always love to have join us. They are best friends.

We have been in our new house for a year now and this was this first time we had ever seen feathered visitors enjoy our backyard pond. Mind you it isn't very big and they must have been desperate.

Dayne got to go on a really cool field trip about 15 minutes outside of Bend to a location that had indian drawings on the rocks. At school their storyline program right now is on the Northwest Indians.
